How much do alterations cost?
Pricing varies depending on labor intensity, material type, and the amount of fabric.
To help estimate general pricing, a regular jean hemming starts at $15.
Rush orders will have an additional fee starting at $10, but may increase depending on time allotted.
How long does it take?
Victoria generally has a fast turnaround time of 1-3 days. However, this may not always be the case should service demands increase or her daily schedule change.
What should I expect for an alterations / fitting appointment?
Upon entrance, Victoria will offer water and show clients where the bathroom is, then escort them to her sewing room.
In her sewing room, she and the client will discusswhat alterations are being requested.
Following this conversation, Victoria will shut the sewing room doors to allow her client privacy while they change.
Before alterations begin, Victoria will seek the client’s consent to begin the measurement, marking, and pinning process. She will maintain communication about where her hands are and how she is manipulating a garment.
Client dignity and comfort are key values in Victoria’s alteration process. Clients are welcome to bring a partner or additional friend during appointments if they wish!

Yes! Victoria is open to doing small custom projects such as banners, bags, pouches, adding belt holes and grommets, and repairs to fabric items.
